For the price of RM 149.00 you can get all, worth of money spent. By having the connection speed of 5MB enable me to download online movie with 2GB size within half an hour which are very convenience compared to my old days experience in home internet using dialup with connection of speed only up to 28 kbps. Better still they said this is not the fastest connection yet. Viewing online media with DVD quality are becoming much fasters with almost no lagging and lost of image during viewing. With wireless capability most of the devices such as smartphones, ipad, notebook can be connected at any place in the house and with no limitations of usage, however if you staying in double storey house it is advisable for you to use the wifi booster device to improve the signal strenght.

I would like share on how my family best utilize the internet at our home. Myself, usually my usage is more to facebook in viewing videos post by my friends, You tube viewing. Apart from that I will spend my time in downloading latest movies and songs from the media shared networks. If works requires to be perform at home then i can easily view my office emails, surfing for new/latest ideas and completing my paperwork/proposal. Not to forget to find materials in completing my assignments. During my leisure time I will bump into my cousin to play online games for us to compete with each others.  and maybe spent some time to surf for latest property launching or cheaper stuff at mudah.com.my.

For communication our family is using skype especially to call my parents thru video calls which save a lot and offer face to face interaction. My home security camera also requires internet connection to link to my phone and pc for recording and notification of image capture. If local channel programme on tv quite bored we often switch to watch stream tv for latest episode and movie.

My wife usually surfing tonton.com.my to catch up with her favourite drama or TV shows which she usually miss out especially malay drama usually on air on 6.00pm since we are coming home late at 7.30pm from the offices. Her favourites activity is cooking during her free time and she love to try new receipe by viewing youtube as an online guide on how to cooks to try different type of menu  for lunch and making cakes or try others new recipe. Just like me, she usually use the facebook to upload new pictures, catching up with her friends . Besides that she prefers to do Online shopping for latest fashion outfit, handbags, or to get latest fashion updates at fashion pages such as zalora. We usually download online newspaper or magazines  rather buying the conventional paper.

My son would really love in viewing latest cartoon episode in youtube and downloading application for games and educations at his ipad. Education for kids is very entertaining and interactive using internet rather than conventional books and it cost you minimal charges and you got spoils of choice for educational materials to choose for.

The most important thing we are choosing the right broadband package and suitable according to our needs and budget. Internet is becoming more like necessities rather than leisure items.

No wonder Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) for 2 years in the row has recorded increased of tax -collection last year alone they managed to collect RM 123 billion. The online Tax known as e-filing platform is really received a thumb up from Malaysian from individual, expatriates, business owners and company for the user friendly, convenience for them declaring their annual income tax.

With unlimited 24-7 accessibilities now the payment can be performed at any places and any point of time as long as you got the internet connection. Even better since last year they have developed application for e-filling system for smartphones users. Younger generation especially exciting using the apps.

First time users are required to register with LHDN to obtain the digital certificate i.e pin numbers for activation. Usually the User ID is your Mykad numbers and passwords you can customize according to your favourite passwords. Each of Malaysians will have your own tax numbers which are open by your employers.

Once login the can view 7 menu that need to be filled in according to your own calculation and details information.  The system will guide you end to end process of filling the field. The first menu is your own particulars which only required to be filled in once. Each menu you can save your data entry to avoid rework. 2^nd menu is your spouse particular for reference of LHDN. 3^rd menu is your Annual income declaration which normally has been automated keyed in by your employers since they have directly send your annual income to LHDN, this will include the monthly PCB amount that been deducted on monthly basis.

The 4^th menu previous year income declaration is previously you are not registering or declaring with the LHDN. The 5^th menu is TAX rebate or exemption usually for Muslim who are paying zakat or zakat fitrah which will have 100% weightages exemption. The 6^th menu is another field for you to fill additional exemption such as individual exemptions, education, medical, insurances, broadband, magazines and many others according to your claim and expenses. For each menu you will have information icon which you can click as a referral on what is eligible for exemption. Each of physical proof for exemption for example book receipts need to be kept by the users for at least 7 years because you might be called for investigation by the tax officers if deemed necessary. The final menu is the summary of your Tax below it stated how much you are required to pay the tax or the tax should be refund to you the system has already calculated for you for each calculations of exemption this will assist the user to freely manoeuvre on the calculation . Once you are confirm and comfortable on the amount you can finalize the process, the system will provide the pdf copy of you tax details together with the digital certificates. If you are required to pay the tax payment can be made online thru FPX or cheques, don’t forget to keep the copy. In my experience if excess of tax deduction the payment will be bank in to your accounts in 7 days.

With the initiative introduce the tax payment process can smoother no more tax evasion excuses. Gone days that required users to fill in forms and once completed need to be sent to the LHDN, which sometimes the forms are missing, the LHDN staff are required to manually process which takes a lot of times, efforts and excess refund will be received late. Not to mention the long queue to get the form or submit the form or wrongly filled in details and endless phone call or query on tax information.  Government has benefited from the increased tax revenue and proper governance of tax process which should be replicated by others government department.

Falls back to last Ramadhan,  my neighbour home has been  ransacked by thieves with total money loss of RM 10,000 plus 2 DSLR camera worth RM 5,000 each and a notebook. While considering purchasing another set of lock aka Solex and looking to another solution by surfing  in the net for home securities i found the IP camera articles. Alhamdullilah with the help of Allah i managed to discover this. on the 27th of Ramadhan, the night before packing to kampung for 2 weeks holidays i rushed myself to purchase the camera at Low Yatt and managed to installed it my at my home. The solution really give me peace of mind enjoying my Raya without worrying what happening to my home.

Guyz, this is  must have gadget for your home .I have already tried this at my home, easy to install and plug in, the only challenge is liitle bit of drilling to install the camera and wiring to power it on !. Look very small and such like handheld camera but it’s very very insteresting if you found out how wonderful this stuff is.

I would like to share my experience using TAP. TAP mobile banking sits in the middle of  sms banking and an application based banking. TAP uses an innovative chip technology that displays a banking menu on user’s mobile phone.

For a start users/customers are required to walk in to any Bank Islam branches to subscribe the service. The customer sim will be patched up with the specially design chip which is the main component or DNA of the mobile banking and will be given 6 alphanumericals passwords. The others set of passwords customer will have to register at ATM machine. For security reason which are not being compromise by Bank Islam and which strictly required by BNM and repective authorities, the TAP required dual  passwords to login and performing transaction.

The advantages of TAP is it doesn’t required internet connection, users are not required to subscribe any data plan or wifi to be available for transaction to be performed. this will enable Pakcik & Makcik even student to use especially in the kampung or remote area but please make sure your have a credit in you phone at least RM 1.Furthermore the menu given ge me a simplier way to perform transaction without having to memorize a long list of codes as what i have been experiencing in sms banking.

The second advantages TAP is not only can be used by smartphone users but is also can be used by older version hp such Nokia 3210 but of course hp that are using simcard only. So user you don’t have to own latest technologies to subsribe to TAP. This should be called as a Rakyat products due to the wider range of coverage on Malaysia demographic.

TAP new services really helps me a lot in managing my financial and savings my time. No more longer queue at Banking hall, in ATM machine and reduce snatch thieves from occuring. This is inline with our goverment vision to promote cashless transaction. The most popular services that i used is Balance Inquiry especially when it is payday and bonus payout for the first 3 inquiries no cost will be charged. Even better the service come with sms notifications for every money credited in and out.

My second favourite bill payment whereby all my utilities bills such as TNB, Celcom, ASTRO, IWK, Quit Rent and even Zakat can be performed without having me to surt to the net or queueing at the ATM especially end of month and most importantly no more last minute payment !!!!!!!!!!   Again with services i can perform payment of credit card, financing  and event paying my UITM fees. This will indirectly managed my financial.expenses.

In the future perhaps Bank Islam should consider expands it’s TAP features for wider usage such as payment when purchasing goods at mall, paying loans with other Banks or online shopping payment by appointing many vendors or agents.

Nowadays Banking is about technologies this is how u can engaged closed to your customers and promote brand loyalties.With this services offered Banking transactions  can be done everywhere at any time….goodbye to traditional banking, time save will be spent with my lovely family

Check this out, hot stuff smart phone now smart camera…awesome. Art and Photography never been my favourite and snapping pictures never been easy…but using this gave totally new experience to me. Using an android platrom the camera is an innovation of smartphone in the mould of Galaxy S3 concept with zoom lens that capable as far 21 times of zooming ratio. What makes it’s different from the rest, the camera are known as user friendly with apps @ icon in the display screen for faster navigating and the existing smartphone users will have no problem to adapt to it.

The retail price is ranging between RM1,899 – RM1,750. and RM1,499 under Celcom / Maxis data plan worth a price to spent on. What impress me the preset Smart Mode menu of the camera provide me a choice of tricky scenes during snapping picture..and the end results of the picture never frustrate me. It can takes panoramic pictures, no more bright lights or dim lights contrast issues and moving pictures as such DSLR camera.

Another features that set apart this camera from the rest is it connectivy thru WIFI or 3/4G. After snapping the picture without requiring a transfer cable to pc or removing the memory card, i can directly share the picture with taken to my family and friends through direct uploading at facebooks, by emails or dropbox, bluetooth transffering.No need to invest a larger memory cards i can simply cloud the existing pictures to my pc whenever or wherever i am and this will provide a back up if the camera is being stolen or memory card is damage.

Finally with the Edit Manager features immidiately i can add some creativity or quick touch up on pictures taken while on the go before sharing with others this gave extra satisfactions and the picture provide like a professional photographers. On top of that with the Smart Content Manager, i can view and organise files and folders in the most convenient.
